If you want to get a good taste for the style and orthodoxy of the Navarre Bible, you may want to check out the series of articles that ran in This Rock Magazine by Antonio Fuentes, one of the main editors of the Navarre Commentary series. He ran through most of the books of the Old and New Testament, providing an introduction to each. Much of the same material is found in the introductions to the Navarre. Here’s one of them:
