NDE Howard storm went to hell Jesus rescued him.

Interesting example of “outer darkness”
 
I think it was probably more a vision of Hell, if true. You can’t get out of Hell.
 
This interview is a bit long and drawn out but still interesting. (I watched a bit.)

Some of the things he says reminds me of the account Teresa of Avila shared describing a vision she had of her place in hell, in some hypothetical sense, I can’t remember the exact details now, but it’s sort of where she could have ended up.

It’s good to be skeptical but somewhat open minded at the same time. Many of these people were as close to death in a physical sense as one could ever get and so I think for that reason alone they would be less likely to make up stories once they returned to the land of the living, of being in good health. Almost dying, changes a persons perspective. They look at life a bit differently, I think.

Plus God in his mercy likes to give special graces for people personally and for other people that will benefit when those people share their experiences with others. For we know, “God wills not the death of a sinner, but that all men be saved.”

Yes u are right.

But he does describe a situation that changed his view of life.

And his experience of being out side of the love of God.
Being surrounded by negatively

I think there are better NDE stories on youtube. The text account of this story may me much better, I don’t know. Howard spends a lot of time tripping over his words and dragging it out. But it is interesting.

It’s amazing how many accounts of this kind there are. (I was just looking on youtube for a particular story I couldn’t locate.)

I believe his experience may be genuine he was probably in hell. I believe his conversion is real too. However, and I’m not judging him; however, to the best of my knowledge he became a Protestant minister. As such he should be handled with caution. I was listening to a catholic group called the tumblers. Their traditional
And they tended to believe any church not pointing to the Catholic Church serves the devil.
 
They may be. However, they do have a point. They are not against the teachings of the church, the pope, or magisterium. Though they clearly have an affinity for the traditional Latin Mass over the novus ordo. They’re not saying it’s heretical. No, they just bring up the point that Satan doesn’t care which church you go to if any at all. So long as it’s not the Catholic Church. To prove a point when satanists steal consecrated hosts they don’t go to the Lutheran, Anglican, or Baptist Church’s. Nope it’s the Catholic Church. I’m not trying to be harsh here. After all my family is all Protestant
 
hmm… he could have been given a glimpse for his edification. It could have been deep purgatory too.
 
I have actually read his book and listened to several of his interviews. He thinks he was about to enter hell, but he didn’t quite get there. He was viciously attacked by demonic entities before getting there after he refused to go any further with them. Right after he died, he recalls exiting his body and his wife could no longer hear him speak. Then, these demonic entities coaxed him into taking a very long walk. As they were walking, the hallway kept getting darker and darker, and the entities kept getting more and more vicious with him. He believes he was on the cusp of entering hell, but stopped just short. The demonic entities hated it when he called on the name of Jesus to help him.

It is an utterly amazing testimony. The book is short - I thin I read it in a couple days - about 120 pages as I recall. YouTube has several really good interview he has done over the years.
 
Yes either way. It is an example of a vision or an example of the spiritual demension.
The spiritual realm is a real reality reflecting our scripture world view. That we have a belief in.
