Need a Job....

Hi all!

I just want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post. I just graduated from college, and now I am looking for a job. I feel very called to law enforcement, and so I tried to apply to a local Police Department in my area. Out of 1500 applicants, and after 8 months of pure testing, and an extremely intrusive background check, I was one of 60 people that made it to the hiring board. They non-selected me. =( This is after I spent 5 years with this police department as a cadet, volunteering with their truancy center, working for the city, and obtaining a degree in criminal justice. Needless to say, I was very discouraged, and decided to quit trying.

However, my girlfriend brought to my attention that everytime I saw a police car, I would stop what I was doing and focus all of my attention on them! So, after a whole lot of discerning (going through the positive and negatives of police work), and with the advice of my spiritual director, a few very good friends, and my wonderful girlfriend, I’ve come to the decision to press on and start applying to other police departments. I figured that God put this very strong desire in my heart for a reason, so I should respond generously. So, please pray for me, for the perseverance to go through the testing, and the strength to endure the trial of looking for a job. Most of all, if this is not for me, the faith to trust in the lord’s divine providence, and the trust that he will lead me to where I should be. Thanks!
 
LORD let your will be done in kaitran 74’s job fulfillment . Lord give him the job you feel he will be good for . LORD if it is your will bless him with a position in a Police Dept . , LORD you supply all our needs . thank you Lord , in the name of Jesus, amen . I believe that God has planted that desire in your heart to serve Him as a policeman. I pray that you will have the faith and declare that you will have the desire of your heart, that you will not lose hope in trying, and surrender to the will of God and trust Him because He knows what is best for you. My daughter was in a similar situation except it was the medical profession, she was turned down, but persevered and is now in the job she worked so hard towards, so you keep going god has a purpose for you don’t give up it will reap rewards in the end god bless praying for you:gopray2:

Will be praying your applications will be successful…He has a plan…sometimes its unfolding can be most mysterious. May The Holy Spirit increase your Faith and trustful confidence in The Lords Divine Providence, always present…
