Need a little help here, please

Well… I’ve have to go in for an angiogram and then see what happens from there. I also have a problem with my pancreas and need a CA199 test for pancreatic cancer. So, if you guys could please, say a couple prayers for me, the would be great.

I said “angiogram” but the paperwork “says” Cardiac Catheterization and Angiography"
…Who knows…I guess it’s the same thing. The doctor was talking about bypass surgery and stints…I would like to avoid the bypass surgery if I can…

Lord please be with Jimmy in his health issues and in any nervousness he feels about procedures, diagnoses, and treatments. Encourage, reassure, and protect him in all things. Grant him experience of your closeness at this time, and always. Thank You, Lord

May all go well for you. I’ve asked Mother Cabrini to intercede for you. She’s the foundress of many hospitals and kept her staffs running in good order. I also noticed that you are retired LE. I’ve been on the other side of the mic for 26 years now and I thank you for your service. May St. Michael continue his intercession for you as well.

Let Mary’s mantle enfold you and keep you from any anxiety and pain. You don’t seem like the type to want to have just sit around and deal with all of that fussing around and stuff. Hang in there, bro!

Hi Jimmy, I have had the Cardiac Catheterzation, don’t know if the Angiography goes with it or not, or if that means an angiogram. The catheterization is interesting. They insert a teeny tiny camera through your groin up to your heart and take pictures of how your heart is functioning. If you need the by pass, do it. A friend of mine had nine by passes in one surgery and is still here to talk about it several years later.
 
Well, in a about nine hours or so, I should know if I’m having the heart bypass surgery or not…The doctor was leaning toward bypass, I hope I don’t need the bypass.

At the last minute, one of my parish priests, who I know, and who like very much, came by the house and heard my confession, granted me absolution, he anointed me, He prayed with me and over me, he comforted me, he read some Holy Scripture and brought me the Body of Christ (the Most Holy Eucharist).

I’m Glad he came. I wasn’t able to drive to St. Mary’s, and they don’t have a car at this time. My sixteen year old son picked him up and brought him to our home, 25 miles one way.

He is a very nice priest. It was a very peaceful experience and even though I was hesitant in calling him, I’m glad I did. I apologized for any inconvenience and he said, that’s what we do, that’s why I’m here. I love priest!

I thank God that I’m Catholic.

He reminded me that life is short and that everything is by God’s will.
