My married sister just passed away about a month ago.a few yrs back,she made me, one of her life insurance beneficiaries…while she was in hospice care,my brother in law told me ,that i was one of her beneficiaries,as well for her investments in stocks.i dont have any information about them i.e. do not know life ins company ,policy number etc.how can i ask my b-i-l about them,without offending him?i would like to contribute further to her funeral and medical expenses.i also incurred unexpected expenses for sudden trips, before and after her demise. when he mentioned before about the stock investments,i also cited about the life ins,which he became irate ,as he said it wasnt appropriate for me to be asking that question,at that time.any advice will be appreciated.thanks in advance!
