I am starting a Catholic club at my school and would like to put a bible quote on the club folders that sounds Catholic. Would you give me some of your favorite bible quotes.

What type of school? Catholic, public? Anyway… pick a quote from the beatitudes in Mt 5. Sirach 23,9 “ Let not your mouth form the habit of swearing” Sirach 2,1-6. Actually for teens the OT Sirach and Wisdom are full of inspiration and “defunking”. I know the teen years can be hard sometimes. Jn 14, 12Romans 14, 1 “ Welcome anyone who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.” Romans 15, 1 “We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.” 2 “Let each of us please our neighbor for the good, for building up.”1 cor 11, 23-27.
Just some ideas.

I like **Joshua 24:15 **
If it does not please you to serve the LORD, decide today whom you will serve, the gods your fathers served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose country you are dwelling. As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

“This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

For good basic direction in life, I like this one. (From the Gospel of Mark, chapter one) You could probably leave off the first sentence

with charity, I’d like to advise you to find your own quote. It** will ** do you more good to find it yourself.

If I may offer some direction to your club. I encourage to check out this website. The organization is called “Communion and Liberation”. It is a Catholic organization promoting Catholic culture. It is international with a magazine to subscribe to and books written by the founder, Fr. Giussani. Check it out and may the peace and love of Christ guide you and your club!
