My mother received a mailing from Interfaith Alliance seeking support for the foundation. Walter Cronkite was the featured celebrity, commenting on how political groups are using religion to promote their own political agendas, not their faith agendas…how this is a dangerous precedence and insults true faith organizations seeking true union between faith and politics.
With a slant like that she’s leaning toward contributing but so far is unable to see if Catholics support this group. There are Catholic links on their website, including Catholic Online, Catholic Information Network, but we can’t tell if these sites, or organizations support financially Interfaith Alliance.
Does anyone have any links or insight as to how Interfaith Alliance is regarded by orthodox Catholic institutions?
