Need help making Angelic Warfare Confraternity cord!

Has anyone here made their own cord?

I emailed the Director and he sent me the instructions. The sheet mentioned something called a Rosary knot, which is apparently a knot with three loops. Is this knot the same as the one people use to make Knotted Rosaries?

Also, what material is the cord made of?
