I have searched the web without success for an explanation of the Mass to non-Catholics, my two kids. There is a booklet in the pews at my parish that I will have to pick up, but I’d like more than one source.
I seek this information because the other day I asked Daughter #1 why she didn’t go to Mass at her (Catholic private) school the last couple of opportunities. She replied that she wasn’t Catholic and didn’t understand the Mass. I tried to explain that there are plenty of graces to be received by non-Catholics at the service.
Anyway, I’m trying to make the Mass more welcoming to her. Maybe someday she will accept the full gifts of the Mass.
Thanks,
Jim
