Need more prayers more than ever

My elderly In-laws and my family were set to move to a better neighborhood but a relative sabotaged it. Last week both our families were supposed to move. Right now only my 2 kids and I are at this new location. One of my brother in law even took time off from work out of state and flew in to move the basic stuff to the new place. My father in law for the longest time refused to move. My family and my in laws live walking distance from each other in a neighborhood that is getting really bad. My in laws garage was invaded twice recently. Drug dealers are moving into this neighborhood. It took us long time to convince my father in law to move. My in laws are in their mid to late 80’s and they cannot maintain a house by themselves. They are forgetting to pay their bills, donating large amounts of money to charities, can’t remember their doctor appointments anymore and take a long time to set up their pills. My husband does everything he possibly can to take care of them maintain their house and our house. I help too. We just lost my mother end of last year and we were care givers for her and had a hectic schedule. Now we want to be the care givers to my in laws. It will be easier if we all lived in one house close to their doctor’s in a nice neighborhood. My husband is working on selling both our old houses and moving things into the new house. The problem is one of the relative whom I asked to pray for my in laws is sabotaged the whole thing. I think it’s her husband who did it. I thought they were on board because when we were looking for houses the daughter would even text me the list of nice houses. Now they sent an email to my father in law saying that he doesn’t have to be pressured into moving to this new place and dad doesn’t have to sell his house if he doesn’t want to. And they even said he can keep the old house for 5 more years without selling. They know all the bad things happening in our neighborhood and how unsafe it is. Now my father in law is refusing to move and he is mad at my husband and even his own wife and they are not talking to each other. Please I need prayers.

PRAYER IN A TIME OF TRIBULATION

O Lord, hear my cry pouring out from a troubled heart. The sorrow which clutches at my soul has driven me to You my protector, my True Friend in time of need. You know, my God, all my failings, my faults and my sins as well as the torment gripping my soul. My greatest sorrow should be for my disregard of Your holy commandments in the past, and I sincerely hope that you will grant me the grace of true contrition. O my Savior, hide not Your Face from me in this tribulation, let the light of Your Countenance shine upon me that I may be illuminated by Its love. If it be Your will, lighten this burden from me, yet should it be a means of my salvation, help me, help me O Lord, to carry this cross, for alone I can do nothing. Radiate Your love upon Your prodigal child O Lord, this beggar who knocks at Your door seeking shelter in Your Sacred Heart; this once proud earthen vessel made of clay seeks You, O Christ, and in a newly found faith, firmly believes that you will receive him in Your limitless Love and Mercy. Amen.

Thank you for all your prayers. Things are tough right now. My father in law is absolutely refusing to move to the nice neighborhood. We even tried one night having him and my mother in law stay overnight. We did everything to entertain him and told him how much we loved him but at the end he was restless and was angry again and accused my husband of all kinds of things and he is still angry. It is a stressful time for my family. Right now only my kids and I are living at the new place. I guess my only hope is God. My feeling is we have to pack up and find another place after we worked so hard to move to the new place and unpack. We have a raw deal.
