Just separated after 6 yrs (2nd) marriage. 1st marriage was abusive; 6 kids, 22 yrs. How do I let go of husband #1’s control over me. Did I marry my second husband out of infatuation? Do I know what real love is? Am I in love again, not at all, or for the first time? Please pray for me and my family.

Eternal Father,
through the resurrection of Jesus
the good news of Your love has touched the world.
By our baptism we are reborn as your Children of Light.
Through the work of Your Spirit
the glory of Your new creation continues to unfold.

Watch over Your family of faith
in the Archdiocese of Regina.
Inspire us by the prompting of Your Spirit:
that our elders may dream new dreams
and our youth may find wisdom in visions.
Give us a courageous heart,
a bold voice and openness of mind,
and above all else, ears that listen.

Help us, as Your family,
to discover Your way:
story telling and dialogue which leads to understanding;
ideas which challenge growth;
a journey which will bring hope.

We offer you this prayer
for you are our life, our strength and guide,
Our loving God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, come to Nommie help and deliver her from this difficulty that besets her. I believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away from fear, anxiety and distress. Help Nommie to face and endure this difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom. Grant that this trial may bring her closer to You for You are her rock and refuge, comfort and hope, delight and joy. She trust in Your love and compassion. Blessed is Your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

*Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Rita of Cascia to us as a most appealing model and powerful friend and an exemplary wife and religious… By her example, she showed us how to love and trust you. *
*You have showered many blessings on those who call upon her. For your greater glory and our welfare, please grant the favors which I ask in her name. *
And you, my powerful patron, intercede for us before the throne of God. Draw near to that throne and do not leave it until you have been heard. O good saint, to you I address our feverant prayers; graciously accept them and ask God thot Nommie (and family) experience in some way the effects of your powerful intercession and the Grace of Wisdom and Discernment. Amen.
