I live in Calif. and my 20yr.old grand-daughter lives in Albany, Georgia.

I received a call today from her that her mother was trying to put her in a mental institution.
My grand-daughter has an office job and has a two year old son from a man who didn’t marry her. She wanted to marry him and still loves him but he dumped her.

Her Mom wants custody of the child. Her mom found a way to get a judge order to get my grand-daughter put in a mental institution to be evaluated.

I think my grand-daughter is mentally normal because I have spent some time with her and I write and call her often for the past three years.

I am worried that she will be kept in the institution for more than a day and that will cause her to lose her job. I am hoping and praying that she gets out right away.

She has friends and relatives that will help her out when she gets out.
I plan to send her money to get her own apt since she lives with her mother,.

She has a very mean mother. Please pray that my grand-daughter gets out of the mental institution soon because I feel she is normal mentally. I hope she doesn’t lose her job.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HER! I AM ALSO PRAYING FOR HER AND CRYING FOR THE INJUSTICE THAT HER MOM IS DOING TO HER. Lucy

That’s horrible, I’m very sorry.
I’m going to be optimistic and say the evaluation should in fact prove that she’s stable.

Lord, I ask you to be with this family
Please send comfort to their hearts

Hello Belle777, PRAYERS WORK!!! Because God listened to our prayers and my grand-daughter was found mentally healthy and released. YEAH! PRAISE BE TO GOD!!

She will be staying with a relative this week. I plan to find her an apartment and pay for it since I have the money to pay for at least two months until she is able to pay for the rent herself. She doesn’t get much money from her office job but at least she has a job.

I cried and prayed sooo much I thought I was going to get sick with grief. It almost broke my heart to think that my grand-daughter was going to lose her child and be kept in a mental hospital just because her mean mother wants custody of my great-grandson.

Thank you all for your prayers!! Hugzz, Lucy

God bless you Lucy, and your family. May God bring healing and peace! I recommend your family to the Sacred Heart of our Loving Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

blessings,

Terrysa

God bless you Lucy! The world is a better place because of caring people like you.

Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. My grand-daughter will be staying with a cousin for one week while she looks for an apartment. Her cousin says there are some apartments for rent near her place. I hope she likes them and are affordable for her budget.
I want her to learn to support herself and not have to depend on others for financial support.
I am helping her out financially at this time because her mother threw her out when she found out that my grand-daughter was not going to be put in a mental institution.

I am soooo happy that God was there to protect my grand-daughter and keep her safe.
Eventhough I don’t live in Albany, Georgia, I have lots of friends who knew my diseased adult son who was her father and a police officer who died in 1997 all of a sudden.
I have several police department friends and relatives who will keep my grand-daughter safe from her mean mother.

Deep in my heart I knew that God was going to help my grand-daughter because I prayed and prayed for help and God heard my prayers and the people here who also prayed for my grand-daughter. PEACE, Lucy

The firsst thing I thought to ask after I rad your post was, “Is Frances Farmer a Catholic? Should I ask for her intercession, I wonder?”

I empathise with your granddaughter, very much. In fact, I know a lady who kept calling the state protective services on her daughter, my best friend, about my friend’s parenting skills. Finally, her mother (the baby’s grandmother) received temporary custody. I helped to move my best friend out of state and although she has more children, you cannot say she is in any way neglectful of them.

I am relieved for you Lucy. God bless!

My grand-daughter told her boss at her office job about what her mother did to her. Her boss is also going to be a great reference for my grand-daughter when she finds an apartment. She is presently looking for one. I know she will find one soon.

I am not a perfect person but God listened to my prayers when I asked for help. I am so grateful to God for always being with me and keeping an eye out for all of my relatives.
God loves me no-matter what I do and I am not worthy of his love. I think it is wonderful that I have God to help me through tough times. I was in so much mental torment when I heard about my grand-daughter being taken to the mental hospital.
It was like a miracle that she was sent home. I know that God was with her.

I have also advised her to go to Church and ask for help in any way they can to get her started on her own. I also gave her the name of all the police officers that can be there for her for protection.

My grand-daughter is a southern country gal and she would not be happy in Los Angeles.
But I would send her an airplane ticket for her to come and stay with me if necessary.

I love my grand-daughter so much that I will do anything to keep her safe with God’s help.
YES, MY grand-daughter does attend church and God is with her too.

It is strange how she inherited a really mean mother. I also inherited a mean selfish, self-centered mother but lucky for me that I learned to pray to God as a little girl. God has been with me all of these years even through tough times.

I am a mature senior who is very active at my church. I love my church and my church friends.
I also appreciate all you people who have also been there to talk to me and pray for me whenever I have a problem. Thank you all so much, Lucy
