Can anyone send me a link to latin audio files to learn the tantum ergo and other benediction/adoration chants. I have the text but actually hearing it sung would be of great help.

Thanks in advance

Here is a great link to midi files for many Traditional Catholic Hymns, including the Tantum Ergo.
midihymns.homestead.com/OSalutaris.html
homestead.com/midicatholic/Catholicinformation.html

I have worked with Doug in the past- he is a good kid and runs a superb website for Traditional Catholic midi files.

Tell him Ken from Mater Ecclesiae sent you.

thanks for links. Nice midi files and lots of em. I was looking for actual voice recordings of the benediciton chants so i can learn them.

Remember that there are numerous melodies for these hymns. The ones on the link are among the most popular, but one might hear other settings in any given place.

An excellent CD for “Latin Classics” is: Catholic Latin Classics by the Cathedral Singers, Richard Proulx, conductor.
Google the title to purchase it over the internet or I’m sure a good Catholic bookstore will carry it, e.g Pauline Books.
Or if you are lucky, your local traditional Latin Mass parish will be singing it at Benediction…
