Anyone know of one that has stories of contemporary martyrs? I am aware of Voice of the Martyrs. Does anyone have a an explicitly Catholic source?

I am looking in particular for the Columbian religious murdered by crime syndicates.

Also, what is a good source for watching things like laws being passed classifying religious teachings as hate speech? I understand that Canada tried to pass a law like this.

I don’t know of a specifically Catholic one, but this site may be helpful:

Center For Religious Freedom
freedomhouse.org/religion/

There is also an excellent book out on this topic:

Catholic Martyrs of the 20th Century, by Robert Royal
amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0824518462/103-9253053-0651814

The American Center for Law and Justice is a good resource:

freedomhouse.org/religion/

The Catholic League also does a good job of this:

catholicleague.org/newsreleases.htm

There is also a Canadian equivalent that is very good:

ccrl.ca/
