The Dallas Diocese offers legal assistance to illegal immigrants but not to a family being persecuted for their Catholic faith in the courts. How does a mother get help for her family? Please ask the dioceses to help us. We have no legal assistance, council, Spiritual Direction or support as an advocate. Please also pray for us.

What is the charge against them and why is their faith the reason for the charge?

The court appointed a psychologist who said the mom teaches the children sacramental marriage and that is considered alienation and she ridged because she is Catholic. The mom was granted an annulment in the Church and in no way used Sacramental Marriage as alienation. A pastor testified against the Mom saying that she pretends to read the Bible. It was also testified that she reads “bad gospel” to the children. Now opposing council is saying she cannot even send her children Christmas cards or call her children. Those were the major things.

That sounds like mom lost all custody of the children?
Not even visits?
That’s extremely rare in this country.
There may be more to this than the mom told you, like drug addiction, neglect or abuse.

You sound like a really caring person, but this woman’s situation sounds like way more than you can cope with.
Is she getting professional help?

oh, that does sound fishy. I’m not even close to having the kind of information you are asking for, hopefully other posters will. very smart folks here.

The mom was divorced over 7 years ago then recently these issues came up in a civil suit to reduce her right to see her children to less children half the year.

No really. I read the court transcript. She does not need professional help in terms of mental health if that is what you meant. The psychologists…all three testified that she does not suffer from psychological illness or personality disorders …no mental health issues.

On the other hand the children are suffering from being separated from her. Two of the children have had anxiety and depression and the youngest has his health neglected by the dad (has dr records) and this has been an issue in the past. The Mom hired an attorney who took 20k and could not get a court hearing because the judge refuses to hear her case.
