Need the name of a saint who

Can someone please name a saint who spent much time serving the poor and suffering and who also wrote about it? Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Damien of Molokai would be good candidates if they had written about it. Mother Teresa’s In My Own Words is a possibility and I am getting it.

How about Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Unbeknownst to most of his family and friends… (till after his death)… he spent a great deal of his time, ministering to people suffering in the hospitals.

And he was a very “regular guy”. Not a priest or religious. What a wonderful example he left, for all of us.

St Rose of Liima… but I’m not sure if she herself wrote about it. Others did write about her though.
