My husband was doing some nice reminiscing about Neil Peart tonight. Said as a kid he only liked guitars, but when he heard “Tom Sawyer” he was so impressed with the drums he knew he HAD to get that album. He was like, 11 years old… and he filled out one of the Columbia House membership cards from the mail where you taped a penny to the card and filled out the albums you wanted… he got Moving Pictures because of the song Tom Sawyer - both guitar and drums and became a Rush fan. Said he still loves Tom Sawyer to this day - almost 40 years later. RIP Neil Peart - one of the most amazing drum players ever and such an influence to so many.

RIP Neil Pearl. I had the privilege to see him play with Joe Bonamassa a few years back.
