Neo-Pagan Christians

Neo-Pagans are a community of faiths bringing ancient Pagan and magickal traditions to the modern age–including mostly Wicca but also Druidism, Asatru, Shamanism, neo-Native American, and more. Neo-Pagan is an umbrella term for various and diverse beliefs with many elements in common. Some Neo-Pagans find no incongruence practicing Neo-Paganism along with adherence to another faith, such as Christianity or Judaism.

Yep, I’ve run into a few Christian Neo-Pagans, or “Christic Pagans”, as I like to call’em.

On the surface that combination makes as much sense as a chocolate oven.

Actually, it reminds me of those “Western Sufis” who take whatever they want and ignore whatever they like and dance around in their little “Sufi camps.” Ah well, they’re nice enough people, I suppose. You just have to take their beliefs as seriously as they take others.

Just be careful of those on the attack, they’re not nice at all.

It does seem puzzling, but then we are looking at it from orthodox eyes. I’m not sure just Christic pagans reconcile Christianity and paganism, but I’ll bet its creative!
