This morning I put my girlfriend on a plane bound for St. Paul, MN. There she will join roughly 150 young men and women who will undergo 5 weeks of training before embarking on a 9 month mission trip across the US. Nine traveling teams and one parrish team will go out to spread the Gospel to young Catholics across the nation.

They have left behind their homes, their families, friends and loved ones in service to Christ. They have put aside work, school and other personal endeavors all for the glory of our Lord.

Please keep them and all those left behind who support them in this journey in your prayers.

Thank you both for your prayers, and thank you to all who have prayed in silent.

The NET teams return home in just over a month for a well-deserved break at Christmas. They are still on the road right now, travelling and sharing the Gospel with young catholics across the US. Keep them all in your prayers.

They’ve had some difficulties this year. On my girlfriend’s team, two members had to leave due to losses in their families. One lost his brother in a motorcycle accident, the other lost her father to illness. Both have returned to their team as of last week, but this is still going to be a difficult year for them.

As for me: My girlfriend and I are struggling right now. We hit a real bad spot a week ago and although it’s getting better things aren’t exactly perfect. She doesn’t have much time to spend talking to people back home. Please continue to pray for us and ask that God strengthen us and guide us through. Even with Christmas break we still have almost 6 months remaining on this journey.

Lord please keep the 150 men and woman in the palm of your hand whilst they go out and carry the message of the Bible and the Catholic faith. Please give them encouragement and provide each and every one of them with the knowledge of how they can distrubute your message best.
