Getting the Bible back to its roots - New Pentateuch translation from original Hebrew
cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/books/11/18/arts.bible.translation.reut/index.html

Your thoughts…
It might very well be a good translation. But it is not from the Original Hebrew becuase there is no such thing. The current hebrew text has been revised more than once.

I had a bible that did what he is trying to do, bring out the Hebrew Literary styles into english usage. It actually was a very interesting read and I got a lot out of it.

You believe anything from CNN?

See what FOX has to report first.😉

I hate secular non-Christian bias media false reporting…

Yet more bible translation vapourware. I’ll stick with my NRSV-CE/KJV/NASB combo. Even the NRSV has to be better then that one.

Your thoughts…
"When God began to create heaven and earth … " is not a new way to translate Gen 1.1a - that is how the New English Bible began in 1970.

I would like to get hold of a translation from Hebrew, by Jews, to avoid Christian bias, and the biasses that are almost inevitable in a version by one translator ##
