Therese, you will be missed as you have been doing a fantastic job since the change. Welcom Catherine Grant.

Welcome, Catherine!

Is it at all permissible to ask where Joe Monahan is? He is such a dear and will be greatly missed by many. 🙂

Welcome, Catherine Grant! Not to downplay your intro or offend you, but where is Joe Monahan? A number of us like paradoxy are worried about his status and wellbeing. Will he be returning to the forums in another section?..

Prayers and petitions,
Alexius:cool:

Welcome Catherine

I’ll try not to irritate you too much 😛

However - like the others I’m also wondering about Joe - his modding style was gentle and effective

Nice to have a Catholic moderator.

Welcome.

Peace.

P.S.

Thanks to Joe for all his hard work. He was appreciated.

Like all of the CAF moderators past and present, I am Catholic. I look forward to getting to know you and encourage you to contact me by PM with any questions or concerns.

I am unable to comment on Joe, but I will pass your well wishes on to him.

Thank you for the welcome!

Joe Monahan has retired from moderating, as you can see by clicking on his member profile. He served CAF for a long time with distinction, and we thank him and wish him well.

I have no doubt that many on the prior thread would want to thank Joe for all he did. He was nothing if not consistent. His guidance on that thread certainly contributed to what it was in a very major way.

Now, Catherine, what sin did you commit that could have warranted such a stiff penance?

Hello 👋 Are you Eastern Catholic too?
My canonical enrollment is in the Roman Catholic Church, but I accept bribes of fine chocolate from anyone.

I forgot to approve new Prayer Warrior requests one day. As a result, I had the choice of Spirituality with no chocolates or Eastern Catholicism and the chance for chocolates. I chose Eastern Catholicism, so you lot shouldn’t let me down!

I’m happy to be here and look forward to getting to know you!

Catherine

Chocolate - no problem

I’m sure you are well aware that in the times of our Fasts we rely on munching really good dark chocolate since it is Non-dairy 🙂 ] to keep us going .

Godiva, Ghirardelli, or Lindt?

Godiva, Ghirardelli, or Lindt?
Those will get you in the door. 🙂 If you needed to choose one of them, I’d get Godiva.

The dairy-free fasters would do well with Dagoba, while those not fasting might get Lake Champlain or La Maison.
