If anyone out there plays the guitar, any songs you recommend learning to play? If this helps I am on an intermediate level for learning the guitar. Thanks!

Are you playing with a pick, or with your fingers?

For finger-style playing, lots of old blues music is quite playable for an intermediate-level guitar player. My favorite is Mississippi John Hurt. For blues, you’ll have to learn some alternate tunings. A bunch of Hurt’s stuff can be played in simple dropped-D tuning (i.e., tune the low E string to a D). Some will be in open G (DGDGAD).

I’m not so great on plectrum-style stuff, no recommendations there.

I do play guitar, but I can barely read music. My logic being, well, I don’t want to (that said, I CAN read tabs). If you’re intermediate level, try to challenge yourself. Find some things that may be considered advance, and see how well you can do.

This will help also but somewhere I was able to find the entire thing on line free. It has 9 levels. I am comfortable at 5. But there are a few things I can do pretty well at higher levels.
