New LOST thread -- Who will die?

Who do you think will be the next (of the major characters) to die?

My money is on Michael…which wouldn’t make me all that sad – I can’t stand his character…whiny and selfish

I think that they don’t need to kill off anyone for quite a while.

In the first season, I think they got caught with their pants down. It seemed like they make a couple of episodes and then hung up the hat. Then they realized it was a smash hit. So they get back to shooting. Well in the mean time they have to show reruns and stuff until they can get ahead of the game again. Well a lot of people were ticked off and losing interest due to reruns. So they needed a hook.

Now people are tuning in and they don’t need the hook. Until rating starts to plummet again.

Funny side note, there was an interview with Hurley that my wife saw. He said that he was talking to his mom and she was very concerned it might be Sawyer. He said ‘thanks for the concern mom’ and then she followed up with that she hoped it wasn’t him either.

Kind of hope shannon gets knocked off - talk about whiney! And, I really don’t think she adds any value to the show. Why not kill her? They already offed the brother.

I do think Hurley might go - I mean how long can a big guy last in such a strenuous atmosphere. I do hope it’s not him though - he’s like a big teddy bear.

Gotta go watch now!

I actually heard the next person to die will be a woman! This show is awesome, I think the only people that would be safe from being killed off are Jack, Kate, and Locke, I think the others are all fair game…

I heard that too! I don’t know who I think it will be but:

I hope it’s not Shannon, only because I love Maggie Grace.

I hope it’s not Sun, because she has really come out of her shell and become active and her own woman, and she is counting so much on Jin’s return. It would be a sad thing for her to go after all that. :crying:

I hope it’s not any of the “original” cast. They all add something unique and make the show what it is. Even though he’s critical to the whole plot, Locke gets on my nerves, but I still wouldn’t want to see him go.

I hope, if it has to be anyone, that it’s just the girl from the back of the plane that Jack had talked to at the airport bar and who turned out to be alive on last night’s episode and in cahoots with the others. What is her name? Did she say Anna-Lucia? However, if she were to live it would add an interesting twist to the Jack-Kate-Sawyer story line. I think Jack kind of liked her at the bar. And I would like to see Sawyer and Kate admit their true feelings for each other.
