How can we be sure you exist? :hmmm: Theresa Martin just started this thread. It could be the case that she is dreaming that someone named Ben Quincy has accepted the responsibility of moderating the philosophy forum and she got up from her bed and posted. How can we be certain there is an actual human being named Ben Quincy somewhere on earth who will be typing on a computer and moderating this forum? Are the probabilities sufficient? Could Ben Quincy be an automated moderating system? Who is Ben Quincy? How can we know?

You know, I wonder the same thing. In fact, how do we know that ANY of the alleged moderators exist? They could all just be programs and if one of us types one of a list of words one too many times we get an infraction!

I do hope I’m not going to get smacked for this. I’m probably on a list of “probable infractees” already. :eek:

I haven’t seen anything. 😦 But that shouldn’t surprise me or anyone who knows me. I’ll have to take a look around.
