Our parish is going to be blessed with a new priest. He will be the assistant parish priest. Our current parish priest will probably be extremely grateful for the help. Our parish is a merger of three parishes. So Father’s being looking after an area which at one time was three parishes; three different parish priests. Despite the merger there’s still two churches, two primary schools, a high school, and a college to serve.

It’s saddening when priests have to do the work of three priests. Now he’ll only be doing the work of a priest and a half. 👍
