Racism is one of great sins of humanity. That’s terrible. All whites should be ashamed.
Racism’s only OK when you’re black. Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton and many rappers promote hate toward whites, but no one would ever say they’re disgusting racists. No, it’s only really, really bad when whites do it.
I don’t think that’s a door you want to open. From there it’s a short step to CPS deciding that teaching them homosexuality is wrong is brainwashing them with homophobia. To me, parents that teach their children these things (no matter what race they are) should be charged with child abuse.
I think it’s more than a venial sin to wear t-shirts and sing praising songs about a man and his associates that managed to brutally murder 6 million Jewish people. Being a part of that propoganda, supporting that kind of hate, is more than venial in my eyes.I believe racism is a venial sin unless it involves wishing grave harm on another person or group of persons. Likewise with anger which is at most a venial sin unless it involves wishing grave harm on another person. Anger can also be not a sin at all if it is rightly ordered (not excessive and motivated by love).
The Catechism does not say racism is a mortal sin. In fact, I searched for the word “racism” and “racist” and neither is mentioned at all in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. So it does not seem to be as important as modern society would deem it. Our Lady (in approved apparition) mentions lots of people going to hell because of sexual sins, not a sin of racism.
So I think people talking about Satan here is going overboard. That would be like talking about Satan for the venial sin of anger (which is venial unless wishing grave harm) or the venial sin of laziness etc.
Let’s not suppose we are holier than these young women.
I certainly do not count myself as holier. Speaking of which pray for my next confession please![]()
