Mar George Alencherry was selected as the major arch bishop of syro malabar catholic church. His consecration was on yesterday.

we now officially have a parish of that rite here in the Valley, in Edinburg. This growing congregation has been worshipping at a local parish, now have purchased their own facility, a former Presbyterian church, with attached classroom building, and are in the process of restoring it. Divine Mercy is the name.
