Hello!
I’m new to Catholic Answer Forums. I was just wondering if there was anything I needed to know about this site that would be helpful.

Near the top right, are three horizontal lines. Click that. At the top is a FAQ section. Click that, read the FAQ and the TOS (Terms of Service). That will give you some of the rules.

Read some of the threads in various sections to get a feel for the place.

You will find a number of subforums here that you should not approach unless you have a very thick skin.

Just remember, take nothing here personally.
 
Welcome to the forum, FinallyPeace! As vz71 says, take nothing personally. Some become impassioned by what they’re saying (maybe a little too impassioned). It’s simplest to just disengage and read another thread. There are some great questions and answers here. The “Casual” forum provides a lot of fun for me.

Also, if you have a question, you might try searching for past threads that might address the topic. You can search for those my clicking on the magnifying glass in the top-right of the menu.

Welcome. Enjoy your time here. Make use of the ignore feature if necessary. (All my ignore timers expired Dec. 1. I have been repopulating the list this morning.)
