I’m fairly new to the faith and pray the rosary three times a day. I was just wondering if there were other prayers or devotions I can add to my practice. I’m currently waiting on my notice for disability (diagnosed with schizophrenia) and am looking to spend my empty hours in devotion. God bless

The Morning Offering.

Reading and reflecting the Daily Mass Readings.

Choosing a portion of the Liturgy of the Hours to try out.

Listening to various spiritual talks on formed.

Thanks for the reply. I honestly don’t know what those are but will happily look them up. RCIA classes don’t start till September so I’m doing all this research on my own

The free app Laudate can help with Liturgy of the Hours, and Daily Mass Readings.

The Morning Offering is this prayer:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day
for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,
for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians,
and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month.
Amen.

Prayer Journaling! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that first.

I love to journal so that would be awsome. Thank you so much for all the help! <3

You pray the Rosary three times a day? That’s very impressive! Awesome job so far!!! 🙂 You can also pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, The Examination of Conscious, The Memorare & The Morning Offering. 🙂

Just a hint, if you are googling any of these, you will have more success with the correct term ‘examination of conscience’ not conscious.

Since we are in Lent the Chaplet of Devine Mercy is another good one
