Hi all!!
I recently began to pray the Liturgy of the Hours as way of deepening my prayer life. As of now, I’ve just been sort of reading every word out loud from beginning to end. I have no extensive experience praying the Office with any other Catholics.
So, as a novice in the Office, I do have a few questions:

So, as a novice in the Office, I do have a few questions:
- Is there a proper way to pray/sing/chant/etc the Psalms?
- Are the Hymns necessary? If so, must you sing? If so, where can I get the music for the hymns?
- How does one phrase/say the responses when praying alone?
- Does anyone know where I can get a nice Breviary cover?
(I have the four volume set)
