New version of Navarre Bible New Testament forthcoming

If you are interested in the new Navarre NT that is over 1000 pages of scripture and commentary, along with the Latin translation try the following link for a good price. It is where I got mine and you really do save, along with the best price I have seen so far on the web for the 7 book OT which normally sells for 45 a piece. If you do want to buy just remember that shipping is for all the books you buy 1 or more the cost is the same (and it is reasonable).

I purchased the The Navarre Bible - New Testament Expanded Edition a couple of months ago, and I am looking for a Bible case for it. I’m having a tough time, because it’s such a large book (9.9 x 7.8 x 2.1 inches, according to Amazon.com).

I’ve searched local stores and the web, but haven’t found anything yet. I’d like an organizer-style case, but I’m getting to the “beggars can’t be choosers” point.

Any ideas?
 
Personally I never took the time to research much about the New Version of the Navarre complete separate book selection on the entire New Testament.
I presently own a entire set which paid just shy of $300.00 Canadian dollars for from a local Catholic religious book store. I love this complementary set especially given the commentary, Latin, Greek, and Aramaic translations as well as English text.
First Edition 1988. second Edition 1991, reprinted 1993, 1996, 1998, respectively.

This one fits, but I had already seen this one in a local brick and mortar store, and didn’t like it because of its limited pockets. I may be forced to purchase this one, though, since I can’t find anything else.

I had looked at this one already, and really like the “Indiana Jones” style, but somewhere I found that even though the size of the case itself is larger than the Navarre Bible, the actual book size it accomodates is smaller. I will reinvestigate it.

I had also seen one of these at a local store, and again, it didn’t have a decent number of storage pockets.

I guess I need to stop being so picky. It’s just that, after spending $80 on the Navarre Bible, I sure would like to get a case I really like.

A seamstress should easily be able to custom-make a Bible case for you out of vinyl or canvas fabric.

It is okay to be picky. I have this same Bible, but I do not take it out of my home so I do not need a special case for it.
