Newly married sexlife

 I certainly hope that what everyone is saying about sexual frequency after the first year of marriage is completely wrong.
We haven’t been married a long time, but our frequency now, even with two kids, is much, much higher than it was our first year. Now, we had some issues as newlyweds we had to work through, and there’s definitely an adjustment when major life changes happen (like kids), but it doesn’t have to derail your sex life. If both partners continue to make their physical relationship a priority, you’ll be fine. 😉

This is probably a bigger concern (typically) for a husband than for a wife. I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you. 🙂
I’m not too concerned. I’ve been married for just shy of a year, but we’ve been living together for about 3, and together and active for close to 5. We haven’t slowed down yet. But to be honest, everything that people say about married sex made us very nervous and extra vigilant at first.

I wouldn’t worry too much, it will calm down soon enough. My mother often reminded me during my first year of marriage that if you placed a grain of rice in a dish for every time you had sex in the first year, you would be unable to empty it during the rest of your married life. The same thing held for fights.
This makes no sense to me. There are like 5,000 grains in a cup of rice, according to most of the sources I found. Even if it were only 1,000, you’d still have to have sex almost three times a day to get that much in a year. And a cup of rice is like 1 meal probably…

UPDATE: OK, so maybe it’s like the penny analogy someone else mentioned where you put a grain in each time for the first year and then take one grain out each time after that. But even then, daily sex for a year = 365. monthly sex for even just 30 years thereafter (assuming 20-something to 50-something) = 360. And I doubt many people switch to just monthly sex in the second year …

I am sure its with most of the newlywed couples : can’t keep hands of each other.

I am newly married and i am having sex mostly every night between 1 AM and 3 AM .(I don’t remember the last time I wore clothes in presence of my husband in bedroom).

Now I understand that too much of anything is not good for health, but since my husband and I have saved ourselves for marriage, we don’t mind mating like bunnies.

Do you think its ok to behave in this manner ?
Let this be a lesson to those who think that dating and hookups before marriage is a good idea.

The truth for a lot of us is that our sexual relations got corrupted from pre-marital dating and then marrying at a later age.

It’s good you guys are enjoying the gifts God gave you and you’re being rewarded something that many of us God has taken away.

One thing though, when things cool down you might want to do things that kind of push the envelope. Role playing regarding incest is not allowed, and sodomy (the ‘a’ act) is absolutely not allowed every. You do that once and you can get cursed to the point of never coming back.

While sodomy (which some define as any intentional, non-procreatively-aligned sexual act, btw, not just what you are describing) is to be abstained from at all costs, there is no sin that is beyond forgiveness and our salvation. It is heresy to argue that a sexual sin cannot be forgiven by God. People come to these forums asking for the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the advice of those who are in it; stop attempting to confuse them with all sorts of random, heretical nonsense.

Some curses are punishable in this life. Some punishment is delayed until after we pass.

If you practice Sodomy (im going to have to stop using that term now because everyone is saying aomething different), what happens is you you reach a new, higher level of thrills and push the envelope further.

People who have ‘sex a lot’ are likely much more at risk of ‘trying something new’ like role playing or sodomy and God can get offended if it’s not kosher.

One thing leads to another and then it becomes normal. And now your sex life isnt kosher. And now you will suffer punishments I garuntee. Both the man and woman. My first ex gf years ago cleaned houses for extra money. The guy was a University professor and he had a live in girlfriend. She looked into their tv cabinet and she said all their was, was anal this and that. All the VHS tapes… Every single one.

Then you start to spit, choke, hit, slap. God doesnt like this. And who knows, maybe get into swinging and disregard Gods commandment to cleave as one with the woman.

Then God realizes that she doesnt want them having children. Then the woman contracts HPV. Then she gets cirvicle cancer. God takes his wife away. And the pain and distruction makes up for all the sins they commited.

You avoid the above scenario by proper warnings which i am here to give. It starts with sodomy and if people are really into sex, even couples, i consider them at a slightly greater risk.

If good food is always prepared and plentiful, you have a greater risk of eating more to the point its not healthy.

Im glad they have a good relations. But theres rules never to break. Hitting, punching, slapping, incest role playing and especially ‘a’ should be avoided. Id also say that couples shouldnt watch porn together because this throws another man in the mix which may not be allowed. I forget if it is but I dont think so.

Um, I think we should get of the sodomy tangent and simply congratulate the OP…

Have a long, happy and prosperous marriage!👍

Let me clarify a few things here.

First of all my husband is totally against unnatural sex of any form, and I am really happy that we share the same interest about it.

Secondly he never forces me to do things that may result in disrespect or disgust for eachother.

The only thing he suggests is variation in sex positions for novelty and avoiding routine.
I am comfortable with that and i am sure many people will agree with it.

Is this a serious question, or did you just want to make us old married folk, with a few kids and aren’t having sex every night, feel bad?
LOL:D that’s exactly what I was thinking!
If you wanna wait to have children read up on NFP it really does work:thumbsup:
