Eric-
Your post brings up a question I wanted to post. My wife and I use the Creighton model and as I posted below, we are pregnant after 4 mos. of use and NOT trying to conceive. Don’t get me wrong, we are excited about the baby, but have serious questions about the Creighton model for the future. We were trained by NFP certified instructors, went to follow up sessions, followed the book and charting, etc… We felt we understood the program. Not sure what we did “wrong”??
Why have you found this model better? I have read that some couples have combined the themoter(sp) model and Creighton model. I might be interested in your kit if this combination is helpful. Do you (or others) have any (name removed by moderator)ut on this??
Todd,
It was mainly the routine of taking her temperature. My wife and I discussed it and the ability to get into the routine was not something we felt we could do. We could have if we really worked at but were not that interested. The Creighton seems easier however it is all one sided to the female. I chart and determine “go time” and visit with about questionable observations and that is it. I take the job of being supportive very seriousely as this was mainly my idea. But for the time being it is working very well.
Thanks Eric
By the way, to the other poster… donating it is a fine idea. Thanks
God Bless! Todd
