Hello everyone!

For one of my finals I need to write a paper on a topic of my choice in one of my biology classes.

I have chosen to do a research paper on the benefits of NFP over contraceptives in regards to long-term health benefits for women.

I’m looking for more reference material. I have my own textbooks from CCL, Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and Dr. Janet Smith’s CD: “Contraception, Why Not?”

If anyone has any good reference ideas I can find online or in the Library…that would be fantastic. I would rather not purchase a new book right now. Thank-you! 👍
 
I would think that if you ran a search at the library on “risks of oral contraceptives”, “risks of IUD”, etc. you could come up with thousands of studies to reference.

It’s not so much that NFP is good for the body as it simply avoids the problems that could arise from ABC. So I would focus on those.

Yes, that was the direct route I wanted to pursue.
 
The Pope Paul VI Institute probably has some great resources. You should probably call them and ask for assistance in locating them or even for an interview with one of their doctors (ask if you could record such an interview for personal review for the report).
