I am a newlywed too! We have been married for 11 days

We use the sympto thermal method, learned through the archdiocese of Boston. I feel like it has been very clear for when I am fertile vs infertile so I really like this method. My cycles are not quite regular and vary from 20-30 days but I feel confident in using both temperature as well as mucous to figure out my fertile times. So far it has worked, haha.

Creighton method, if you live in an area where you can get good instruction. It’s mucus only and I think it works great and is really easy to do.

In that case, why do you accept Francis to be qualified as a Pope when he praises Judaism, paganism, Islam, says Jews are God’s chosen people, said Jews Christians and Muslims worship the same God?

Says Jews are “God’s chosen people”? The implication is that Pope Francis is wrong for quoting Scripture?

Is that the point here?

Is it not true that the Jews are described as being “God’s chosen people” in our very own Bible?

We used the LadyComp and then, when we started TTC, started putting the temps into FertilityFriend along with the type of cervical fluid. (I used past tense because we recently had a baby and I haven’t gotten my cycles back due to breastfeeding ). I do love the LadyComp, but if money is tight, a good basal thermometer and an app that charts for you, like FertilityFriend, work just as well!

We started with Sympto-Thermal which worked well for about 7 years (not constant - 3 pregnancies in there). Then after my youngest was born, my cycles came back at about 3 months postpartum but were still out of whack several months later so we switched to Creighton method. We are blessed enough to have the only NaPro/Creighton trained doctor in 100 miles just 5 min from home and he was able to get my cycles straightened out with Progesterone.

Even though we used the Sympto-Thermal method for years without many questions, I never had any instructor to be able to answer my questions with certainty. I love having a Creighton certified nurse/instructor to consult with questions and the doctor to back her up for actual medical issues.

My wife and I began with Couple To Couple League (CCL - SymptoThermal) for the first nine (?) years, and ended up blending that with Marquette for the last 3(?). Just be warned, it is NOT recommended to mix methods unless you know them both WELL first.

(?) - This means I’m a guy and I really don’t know for sure. I just know we’ve been Married for 12 years, and that’s about the most detail you could get from me.

I used Basil Body temperature … Now I just use basic mucus & calander common sense.

I was looking at my iPhone. Under the “health” app that came with the iPhone, they have a “reproductive health” section. This allows you to add information about:
Basil body temperature
Cervix Mucus quality
Ovulation test result
Sexual activity
Spotting

I’m almost tempted to start charting because the phone is so organized … But the eality is I have never been a person who will reliably make entry’s. It still looks valuable!
