I’ve had a NLT Bible ever since Baptism and apparently no one even realized it wasn’t a Catholic Bible.
I know that now and I’d like a complete one so I’m wondering what to do with this NLT Bible?

I have a good collection of Bibles, both Catholic and non-Catholic. I find them all useful. Sometimes you can gain valuable insight from that, as you compare the different translations.

I miss the missing books of the non-Catholic versions, though.

I don’t exactly foresee myself needing it though 🙂 I just was wondering if I could simply give it away to a thrift store?

There is a NLT Catholic Edition (NLTCE). It is approved by the Roman Catholic Church for private study and includes the Deuterocanon.
