Thirty miles, which doesn’t sound far except that I don’t make much to be able to budget for going often.

Check with the Parish to see if they offer a pickup service for Parishioners. Many Parishes offer such a service for the elderly & those who do not have access to transportation.

You can still be Catholic, even if you can’t make it to Mass. I second asking the priest at the parish if there is a way the parish can help you get to Mass. I would be happy to give a ride to someone.
If you are totally unable to get to Mass, the obligation does not hold. Some reasons for missing Mass are: being sick, caring for someone who is sick and cannot be left alone, helping people who have had an accident on your way to Mass, icey roads or other unsafe weather, having to work, etc.
It is good to set aside some of the day for spiritual reading or other similar activity. For example: watching the Mass on TV, reading the Sunday readings in addition to your normal reading, and that sort of thing.
Many people have been unable to get to Mass. When the English we’re switching over to Anglicanism, Mass for Catholics was very rare. People in many parts of the world are unable to get to Mass because Mass is celebrated in their area only every so many weeks or even months.

It must be much harder when you don’t have a local parish. You could try a prayer routine and listening to a mass online.

Being Catholic is a perpetual disposition of the heart and mind, not a weekly appearance in a Church building.
