I just dont understand this. What is the church stance on the meatless fridays during lent, can you eat chicken or not. I hear many people say “Its white meat, it doesn’t count”. I was always taught Chicken was meat?

Last I checked, chicken was meat. What about Snickers bars? Are they meat too??

White meat is still meat. Chicken counts!!!

Just pretend you are a vegetarian. Actually, not eating meat one day a week the whole year has to be good for you, that includes not eating shellfish/seafood.
