No more Bulls?

When was the last papal bull written? I don’t think JPII ever wrote one. I’m also not aware of any from Bl. John XXIII Paul VI or JPI (although I could be mistaken). Does anyone know why we haven’t see one in a while?

The nature of a bull is actually quite general, covering at its origins essentially all official releases of the Holy See. The modern “disappearance” of bulls is due to an increasingly stricter system of classification (encyclicals, apostolic letters, apostolic constitutions, etc.).
