Right now it is not looking good. The majority is “No”. I can’t vote as I’m a minor and I also don’t pay taxes. But I can’t believe that not only do the majority of Oregon-citizens up in the metro approve of mass-murder of infants, but they also want to make pro-life taxpayers pay for something they find morally detestable. When I checked my heart sank and I sighed saying “no…” I prayed and I’m very angry. I feel like I need to fast. How do my fellow Oregonians feel about this? Should I fast?

Wednesdays are dedicated to Saint Joseph so you might want to fast tomorrow.

I was thinking that. In specific tomorrow until Saturday when I awaken. Am I being unreasonable? I’ve only fasted one other time which was good the most part a test to see how hard it is, I lasted until 1:15 PM from my waking time at 6:15 AM. But I wasn’t really that hungry, the pain had subsided within hours, I just was like “okay, I can’t really pray much because I’m at school, so.” Is it good to fast on a school day? Tomorrow is school

I heard one poster here claim that you could donate money to a pro-life organization whenever you are angry about abortion. Even if you only give a little, the bucket is fuller with that extra drop.

I wouldn’t recommend fasting for that long. Wednesday to Saturday is four days and that doesn’t sound like something that most people would be able to go through.

The current status quo in Oregon is that all private insurers and OHP (Oregon’s Medicaid), must fully cover abortion. This means that low-income women are granted a special, financial incentive to seek abortion. The eugenics in all of this just makes my skin crawl.
