Non Catholic attending mass

And don’t be offended if you stick out your hand and another gives you that cold stare that says “I don’t shake, I just nod.” People have their reasons I’ve found. Old people with arthritis, germaphobes, etc. I used to feel offended but then had arm surgery and became a nodder.
 
It is OK to move to shake hands. I’m not Catholic either and when I go to mass, I go up for a blessing and then I go back and kneel.
 
Lol yep the 90 minute version. Your football matches last nearly as long as our cricket games hahaha!
 
you know what’s scary? If you record an American football game and watch only the ‘action’ between all the time outs, it’s ends up being about 12 minutes long.
I happened to have heard the second half of the Derby Leeds game (on satellite radio). Note to England—it’s pronounced Derby, not Darby. 😄
 
We are actually supposed to sit when the Holy Eucharist is put back in the Tabernacle. The habit of kneeling when the priest sits began when some Tabernacles were put to the side instead of front and center.
 
So I made it to mass today and it was a lot busier. It was also a very diverse group, which is great. So there was quite a mix of hand shaking, waving, sitting and kneeling.
