For one thing, as well as abuse, sex for “fun” deadens the ability to form lasting, permanent, marital relationships.

But then, folks who abuse, or advocate the abuse of sex usually have little time for marriage either.

And of course, to use something for other than what God created it is intrinsically and profoundly wrong to begin with.

Also, abuse is the use of something for a purpose other than for which it is intended. And that’s not profound philosophy; that’s just plain English.

Finally, the quoted assertion sets a new standard for lazy thinking in this thread.

of course. this assumes sex within marriage. whether or not its an abuse of sex whenever a married couple has sex for pure fun and had no intention of having another child.

as a married man, i do.

in today’s overpopulated world, i think 99% of sex should be intended for that reason. let me clarify: married couples should have a limited number of children (maybe 2 or 3 only), but should continue having sex constantly. so:

• sex for reproductive purposes <1%
• sex for fun 99%+.

Benefits? I think you need to look at the AIDs crisis. Speaking of Buddism the AIDs epidemic is rapidly growing in China and India. So many are dead for a few moments of hedonistic pleasure.

Peace to you all, if you allow me, I may give you the Islamic point of view on the topic.

First and for most, this is NOT my Judgement or my personal opinion or any other human being but divine laws as directly quote from the Quran and even the Hadiths (the Prophet’s Teachings.

Homosexuality is a gross sin. Men and women should abstain from any practice of Homosexuality.

Homosexuality is prohibited in Quran per the example of the people of Lot. The following verses will make this clear.

"Lot said to his people, "You commit such an abomination; no one in the world has done it before! “You practice sex with the men, instead of the women. Indeed, you are a transgressing people.” [7:80-81]

"Do you have sex with the males, of all the people? “You forsake
the wives that your Lord has created for you! Indeed, you are
transgressing people.”[26:165-166]

"Let there be a community of you who invite to what is good, advocate righteousness, and forbid evil. These are the winners. [3:104]

The above and last verse, is telling all people to be a winners and to always advocate righteousness and forbid evil.

Next post I will touch on how to deal with homosexuality and banishment of a homosexual person.
