In short I can summarize your confusion or not understanding my meaning in a few words.

That which is of the Spirit (Holy Orders) supersedes that which is of the flesh/ carnal (Canon law).
 
There is no conflict between Holy Orders and Canon Law. There is nothing to be resolved. There is no point in trying to decide which one supersedes the other. They are simply two different things, two different abstract nouns.

It is like asking “which one has the higher temperature, literature or time?”
 
I have answered your question of not understanding my post.

Now you have introduced a new subject of discussion that is not mine. For example I never thought or posted anything which you posted, “There is no conflict between Holy Orders and Canon Law”.

If this is the argument you are making? I would yield to your new discussion which leaves my discussion between those things which are of the Spirit = Holy Orders (not subject to change) supersedes those things which are carnal of the flesh =Canon law (which is subject to change).

Suffice to say; There CANNOT be any “conflict between Holy Orders and Canon Law”. I don’t know who ever made that argument here, other than you?
