Not receiving in mortal sin question

Long story short, my wife and I engaged in non-procreative sexual acts, she recently gave birth so we can’t have sex, not to say that’s an excuse but that’s the background.

I abstained from receiving communion and then confessed this sin. But my wife was also at mass with me and I did not mention to her that perhaps she should not receive either and so she did receive. I do not believe it would have occurred to her not to because I don’t think she knew it was a grave sin.

So my question is, have I committed a sin because I didn’t mention to her not to receive? And is that a mortal sin that I now have to go back and confess? Secondly, our newborn son was also in the room during this sin, is that another sin that I have to confess that he was in the room?
