I have chosen Mary Magdalene as my Patron Saint for Confirmation. (I am in RCIA, and will be in full communion, this Easter.) Does anyone know of a Novena to Mary Magdalene? Thank you.

A novena is simply praying for an intention for nine hours or nine days or nine weeks or nine Saturdays or nine months. There is no requirement that you find some “official Mary Magdalene Novena”, Ask her to pray for you, do it for nine days and you have prayed a Novena.

There’s no better choice than St. Mary Magdalene!
I googled and found a 9 day Novena, a Litany and some prayers.
The Novena is not “official” (I don’t think there is an official Novena) but scanning through it, I saw nothing objectionable and would pray the Novena myself. It has daily Scripture readings, reflections and meditations (which I’d consider optional) and a daily prayer along with the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.

Beautiful choice! I’ve always identified strongly with Mary Magdalene. If you’re interested, there is a group that compiled music to illustrate many of the Bible stories and characters. Mary Magdalene’s is called “Alive” by Natalie Grant and it is an incredibly powerful song. I can spend days listening to it.
