Novena to Mary?

Why are there so many different Novenas to Mary? For instance is there a difference in praying a novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help vs The Immaculate Heart of Mary?
 
Private devotions begun by different people in different places.
One is not “better” than another.
Just as people have distinct views on which “image” of Mary they prefer, they have different personal devotions.
Me? I like the Mary Undoer of Knots Novena. Others may prefer Our Lady of Good Success. Nothing more than a personal preference for the particular prayers.
Some are wordy…some are brief, some flowery, some with archaic language, some with may components.
There are literally 100’s of Novenas to Our Lady, Christ, the Child Jesus, and various Saints. The one to St. Rita is very popular, fro example. Also, Jude, St. Peregrine, etc.
Different needs and different styles of prayer is what make them so beloved.
