Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the past I have asked for many favors. This time I ask for a very special one. . . . Take it, dear Jesus, and place it within your own broken heart, where your Father sees it. Then, in his merciful eyes it will become your favor and not mine. Amen. . . .

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord, help me to remember that nothing is
impossible to prayer. Because when I pray, I
bring You close and when You are close, I am
not alone or afraid. I call on You, and the world
eases around me. There is comfort for my hurt
and peace from my worries.

As one door closes, I see another open wide
before me. So, let my whispered voice start
each day with the promise of prayer, certain
that with Your name on my lips, and Your love
in my heart. All things are ever possible.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
Fountain of Eternal Life,
Your Heart is a glowing furnace of love.
You are my refuge and my sanctuary.
O my adorable and loving Savior,
consume my heart with the burning
fire with which Yours is aflamed.
Pour down on my soul those graces
which flow from Your love.

Let my heart be united with Yours.
Let my will be conformed to Yours
in all things. May Your Will be
