Novena to St Jude--encouraging devotion to St. Jude

After seeking prayer here for about a month, and finding fantastic results, I finally turned to praying a Novena to St. Jude and then a second one, back to back, not knowing exactly what I was praying for, just answers to deep questions and problems. Well the Lord has brought my life into deep focus and I have been here again tonight asking for a few prayers but the gist is that the Lord has moved me forward towards baptism and finding my way out of my family problems into a place in the Church. I have resolved my understanding of my issues with a final dramatic revelation and insight into my relationship with my mother that changes things.

So I am here to share this major victory and to announce my gratitude and devotion to St. Jude, truly the saint of lost, forgotten and impossible causes, I am alive again. Bless you and thank you for your prayers.

But I want to ask for continuing prayers as the miracles continue to unfold there are dangers, I failed to do something I was asked to and this will be the crux of tomorrow morning when this whole situation I am in will come to a head.

Prayer of Gratitude for God’s Blessings​

O Lord and Vivifier,
Your grace has achieved for us
all that You had spoken and promised.
Grant us access to the place of Your peace.
For You are our Vivifier,
You are our Consoler,
You are our life Remedy,
You are our Standard of Victory.

Blessed are we, O Lord,
because we have known You!

because we have believed in You!

Blessed are we,
because we bear Your wounds
and the sign of Your Blood on our countenances!

Blessed are we,
because You are our great hope!

Blessed are we,
because You are our God forever!

Prayer for Wisdom​

Lord, Almighty God, source of light, truth, and
eternal goodness:

Transform this moment into an hour of vision
and inspiration. Help me find wisdom; shed
light on my thoughts. May my aspirations
come true through righteous and good deeds.
Give me the strength to concentrate, to think
objectively, and to see clearly. Shed Your light
on me so that I may see which decision to make.
Help me, O my Eternal God, to avoid vanity
and pride, and thus be able to make worthy
decisions as a true child of Yours. Through
Christ Our Lord, Amen.
