I never had daughters so this was never a thing for me, but I had nieces who had the American Girl dolls from historical periods including 1774 (Felicity), 1904 (Samantha), and 1944 (Molly).
Now, apparently, 1986 is a “historical period”!
This is Courtney. She plays Pac-Man, has mile-high hair, AND a “Molly” doll!
(BTW, this is not meant to be a bashing thread about whether or not the AG dolls are appropriate or not… I’m just in shock that a doll that depicts the year after I graduated high school is now considered “historical”!)
