Another excellent Netflix movie! This is great for the whole family. It features Mr Deeds, a very good and honest man, who suddenly inherits $20,000,000 dollars from a rich uncle, and is swept away to NY city. The vultures descend on him. It’s a morality play that pits good vs evil, charity vs greed. It’s filmed during the Great Depression, my family gives it five stars!

I’ve never seen the original, but I can honestly say the remake of it was awful.
